This style features a main flight of steps that splits into two parallel flights at a break, often bending in opposite directions. These stairs are celebrated for their striking and opulent appearance, often used in grand entrances. The design provides a symmetrical and symmetrical aesthetic, often accentuated with ornate railings or fixtures. Though they need significant space and a larger budget, Bifurcated stairway designs are a classic emblem of sophistication.

The L-shaped design is great for maximising space in tiny homes by fitting into corners. A landing is included, providing a place to pause while going down or down the staircase. L-shaped stairway designs are often considered more secure than Straight designs because the turn in the flight reduces the risk of falling. This design is also visually appealing, as the turn can be highlighted with modern balustrades or lighting.

While impressive, Floating stairs require expert engineering to ensure stability.
